VerPan has become a global phenomenon, producing lighting in accordance with the original Verner Panton principles. Over the course of his career, Verner Panton introduced a series of modern lamps unlike any of his Scandinavian contemporaries. An inspirational, unique and colourful personality, he had a special sense of colour, shapes, light, function and space. With a remarkable faith in the unlimited possibilities of the form, he worked successfully to create a new set of theories about how lighting should influence its surroundings and provoke thought in those who perceive it.

Danish 1960s design engraved with Verner Panton's signature, small table lamp featuring a cascade of mother of pearl discs suspended by metal chains of varying lengths on a 2-ring chromed frame and 3-stemmed round base. The discs are delicate objects of beauty that create a magical play with light when the lamp is lit. The bulb fixing is hidden inside the cascade, providing best effect with a transparent bulb.
