VerPan has become a global phenomenon, producing lighting in accordance with the original Verner Panton principles. Over the course of his career, Verner Panton introduced a series of modern lamps unlike any of his Scandinavian contemporaries. An inspirational, unique and colourful personality, he had a special sense of colour, shapes, light, function and space. With a remarkable faith in the unlimited possibilities of the form, he worked successfully to create a new set of theories about how lighting should influence its surroundings and provoke thought in those who perceive it.

Visionary 1960s design, large pendant light featuring a shower of mother of pearl discs attached by chains of small metal rings to a suspended 5-ring chromed frame. The discs are delicate objects of beauty that create a magical play with light when switched on. Black fabric suspension wire with chromed tube engraved with Verner Panton's signature. Chromed dome ceiling rose. The bulb fixing is hidden inside the shower of discs and provides best effect with a transparent bulb.
