Product details and prices
Every effort is made to ensure that product details, descriptions and prices shown are accurate at the time you place your order. If an error is found, macandmacinteriors.com will inform you as soon as possible. If the price shown is incorrect, we will offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling.
All items are offered subject to availability. If on receipt of your order, the item(s) you have ordered become no longer available, macandmacinteriors.com will inform you as soon as possible, giving you the option of purchasing an alternative product. If you decline this option, a reduction in payment equal to the value of the unavailable items will be made.
Promotions, discounts and special offers
All discounts are subject to volume of order and delivery location.
We have gone to great lengths to illustrate our products, but each image should be viewed in conjunction with the descriptive text and will, of course, be limited by the screen settings of your own monitor screen. If an exact colour match is vital, we recommend you order a sample swatch or contact us.
We ask for payment in advance of delivery. This can be by credit/debit card, via our secure shopping system, or by cheque or postal order for UK customers. If you are shopping from outside the United Kingdom, your card company will convert the transaction into your own currency. We accept all major credit cards; American Express, MasterCard, Solo, Switch/UK Maestro, Visa, Visa Debit/Delta and Visa Electron.
After you send your order you will receive a copy by email, please print or keep this copy for your own records. This does not mean we have accepted your order. Once your credit has been approved, the receiving address has been verified, and the item has been located, your order will be accepted.
All prices shown are in £ (GBP) sterling, and are inclusive of UK VAT at 20%. If you would prefer to pay by cheque, cash or bank transfer, please contact us at the showroom as we can only accept your order by telephone or mail or by prior arrangement.
Shipping, delivery and postage and packing
All relevant postage and packing, shipping or delivery charges are included in the cost of your order. The goods you order will be delivered to the address you give when you place your order. We aim to dispatch all orders within 14 days of the item being in stock but please allow up to 28 days. During busy times, or for bespoke orders, this timeframe may increase. A working day is any day other than weekends, bank or public holidays. If delivery cannot be made to your address for reasons under macandmacinteriors.com's control, we will inform you as soon as possible.
If you deliberately fail to take delivery of the order (otherwise than by reason of circumstances under the control of macandmacinteriors.com), without prejudice to any other right or remedy available to macandmacinteriors.com, macandmacinteriors.com may a) store the items in the order until actual delivery and charge you for reasonable costs (including insurance) of storage; or b) sell the items in the order at the best readily obtainable price and (after deducting all reasonable storage and selling expenses) account to you for any excess over the price you agreed to pay for the items or charge you for any shortfall below the price you agreed to pay for the items.
If you fail to take delivery because you have cancelled your contract under the Distance Selling Regulations, macandmacinteriors.com shall refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the order, less any expenses incurred for failed delivery.
Every effort will be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after your order has been accepted. However, macandmacinteriors.com will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. In this case, macandmacinteriors.com will inform you as soon as possible.
If a carrier is used, upon receipt of your order you will be asked to sign for the items received in good condition. If you are unable to check the contents of the package at that moment in time please sign for the delivery as "UNCHECKED". Failure to do so may affect any claim for replacement or refund that you make thereafter.
Clearance & From Stock orders will be supplied by Moderno Interiors Hampshire Ltd. T/A Marlow Davies.
Your Right of Cancellation (Distance Selling Regulations)
You have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to the end of 7 working days after you receive your order (see below). To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice to macandmacinteriors.com by letter, fax or email, giving details of the items ordered and (where appropriate) their delivery. Notification by phone is not sufficient.
If you exercise your right of cancellation after the items have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning them to macandmacinteriors.com at your own cost. The items must be returned to our warehouse: 138 Clock Tower Road, Isleworth, TW7 6DT.
You must take reasonable care to ensure the items are not damaged in the meantime or in transit.
Once you have notified macandmacinteriors.com that you are cancelling the contract, macandmacinteriors.com will refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the items. If you do not return the goods as required, macandmacinteriors.com may charge you a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering the items. Returns policy
We hope that you will be happy with your purchases. Should you wish to return anything to us, our returns policy is set out below. If we make a mistake with your order, or if the goods received are in some way faulty, we reserve the right to exchange the incorrect or faulty item. Please notify us within 7 days, along with photographic evidence and we will cover the cost of exchange. If you change your mind for any other reason, we are happy to exchange items or offer an in store credit, provided the goods are returned to us within 7 working days of their receipt, in the original packaging and in a saleable condition. Please return items to: Mac&Mac, 35-42 East Street, Farnham, Surrey GU9 7SW. We regret, however, that in this case we cannot refund return postage costs. We are not responsible for return postage or packages that do not reach us. Please ask at the Post office for a free certificate of postage. If you require, we can collect the goods at a cost of £45 within the UK mainland only. Regrettably, self assembly furniture cannot be returned once assembly is part or fully completed, unless the item is deemed faulty. Divans, duvets, pillow products and mattresses are non-returnable once unwrapped, unless they are faulty. This is for reasons of health and hygiene. Your statutory rights are not affected. macandmacinteriors.com will refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you for the items once they have been received by our warehouse.
Out of stock items
Sometimes, items are for a variety of reasons temporarily unavailable. We try to alert you to this fact on the website, but just occasionally, demand exceeds supply. If a product you have ordered is out of stock at our suppliers, we tell you about the problem, dispatch the rest of your order as normal, and place the out of stock item on back order. We try to estimate when new stocks will arrive and always give you the option of cancelling either the whole order or simply the out of stock item, if you would prefer not to wait. The out of stock item will be forwarded to you immediately it becomes available.
V.A.T. (Value Added Tax)
All prices on this website include a UK sales tax of 20% for V.A.T. This applies to UK customers and those resident within the European Union (EU). If you live outside the EU, this tax will be deducted from your order at checkout. Please note that to be eligible for a VAT reduction, we need to deliver to an address outside the EU.
Limitation of Liability
macandmacinteriors.com's total liability in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise, arising in connection with the performance or contemplated performance of this agreement shall be limited to the price paid for the goods. Nothing in these conditions excludes or limits the liability of macandmacinteriors.com for death or personal injury caused by the Supplier's negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation.
If you are a business customer macandmacinteriors.com shall not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage (whether for loss of profit, loss of business, depletion of goodwill or otherwise), costs, expenses or other claims for consequential compensation whatsoever (howsoever caused) which arise out of or in connection with this agreement.
