With deep roots in the Italian artisan tradition, Porada has a passion for wood, more recently married with glass, steel and plastics as a result of pioneering technological advances. Hardwoods, lacquers, fabrics such as soft cottons, silks and velvets, luxurious leathers and hides lend linear, squared elements and softer, more decorative pieces new dimensions. Current collections were born out of collaborations with Alberio & Cerbaro, Martino Perego whose name is synonymous with ‘Linea 91' and ‘Hoppo', Marconato & Zappa and Tarcisio Colzani.

Stem and base in a choice of oak-stained, walnut-stained or wengé-stained ash, open-pore lacquered in white, ivory, chocolate, black or close-pore lacquered in gold or silver.
